Not a fan of either. At all. They look like a younger and older version of the same guy. Sorry, I can't cast a vote on this one, cuz I don't find either one attractive at all.
As an actor, I really really really like Alan. Watching Alan play the evil prince Jon in Robin Hood with Kevin Cosner (sp?) that was the first time I ever remember thinking: wow, that is a really good actor. I still threaten to cut people's hearts out with a spoon so it will hurt more. He's been in sense & sensibility as a good guy, and again in Harry Potter as the mysterious Snape. That said, however, I can't say that I find myself particularly attracted to him physically. He's a wee bit too old for me.
THe other guy, Richard? I can't place who that is from that one picture, but he looks younger so I'd have to go with him.
Alan. He can play the good guy as convincingly as he can the bad guy (which maybe explains why he plays Snape so perfectly). And his silky voice gives me shivers.
You know who my vote is for. I do have to say that you posted rather unequal pictures. Of course some pap picture looks like shite next to a publicity snap. And yet Alan still looks smokin!
I suppose at my age I should go with Alan-he IS such a great actor. However- I have to side with Heather-Richard is REALLY hot! he he (by the way I just found your blog and have had a ball reading it!)

Rchard. I thought I wasn't hung up on looks but I guess I am. I don't know either actor but Richard looks younger and more strikingly handsome!

I googled pictures of both of them, and after looking at lots of both, Definitely Richard. :)
